In 1993, my grandfather opened Makkah Dental Clinic in Lahore, Pakistan.

He built it from nothing. He wanted my father to become a dentist and carry it forward.

My father went into the judiciary instead, and became an Additional District and Sessions Judge.

For 25 years, my grandfather ran the practice himself. He saw patients. He paid his team. He kept the lights on.
